Foot Prints....How To Release Toxins

With the recent windstorm, it is a reminder that there is a lot of factors in our environment that can make us tired and frustrated with the state of our health. There are a few simple things we can do to avoid toxins in our daily life that will help bring about a better sense of wellness.

Shop for organic fruits and vegetables, and fresh and frozen foods, rather than canned foods.

Store and heat food in glass containers only; no plastic.

Drink water out of glass containers instead of plastic.

Use a non-toxic dry cleaner, or air out dry-cleaned clothing before bringing into the house.

Avoid fragrances and remember that unscented does not mean fragrance free.

Use your golf ball technique to touch upon all the reflexes on the feet and then soak your feet in a bath of Epsom salts, lavender essential oil and baking soda to help draw out the toxins. If this is done before bedtime, it helps promote better sleep as well!
