Foot Prints - Great use of Golf Balls

How interesting our bodies are! Everything is connected in so many ways. Our cardiovascular system makes sure blood is circulated to and from our heart to all the little capillaries in our body. Our nervous system connects the brain and spinal cord to nerve endings that relate back to the brain. With Reflexology, the theory is that the feet, hands and ears have reflex points that correspond to all the different areas of our body. Stimulation of those points regularly will bring about decreased stress, increased immunity and a general sense of well-being.

Following is a very simple hand Reflexology technique that you can follow at home, in your own space and time. It takes just a few minutes and you will be surprised at how great it feels!

Place a golf ball in between the palms of your hands and circulate it around all the areas of your palm for about 2 minutes. This stimulates all the reflexes of the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, spleen, gall bladder, pancreas, stomach, and all the organs in the abdomen. The indentations on the golf ball ensure the reflexes will be stimulated.

Different essential oils can be added to your palms prior to this exercise, depending on your feeling for the day. Maybe some lavender for calm, Frankincense for reduces inflammation, and a citrus-based oil for high energy.
