Time Management

Well…it’s been more than a month since my last posting! I didn’t dedicate my “usual” time slots to social media updates and I felt the need to spend more time in different areas of my life.

Looking back at all the events and “un-events” between today and my last posting, I am grateful for each day. Each day was a new opportunity to make a difference, to be there for my loved ones and to provide relief and comfort for my patients. I try not to second-guess what I could have done better or what if’s…I know that living each moment in the present I am doing my best at that time.

Hence, there is no need to feel overwhelmed by looking towards the future: there are no expectations, no long to-do lists or obligations as long as we focus on each day. Each day is a gift. Each moment, we make a choice to act in the present by not worrying about the before and after.

The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. ~Abraham Lincoln
