Our bodies speak to us through symptoms, for example headaches, fatigue, constipation, etc. to tell us that something is not quite right. Often, we just ignore these signs and mask them by suppressing them with painkillers, herbal extracts or other products.  As this goes on over time, our bodies can start to misinterpret what's going on inside of us.

In autoimmune conditions, our body mistakenly attacks our own tissue as if it were infected or some kind of foreign tissue. Autoimmune diseases vary widely and are mostly classified by the tissues that are being infected and the symptoms they produce.

Rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Celiac Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Ankylosing Spondilitis, Crohn's Disease, Endometriosis, Fibromyalgia, Meniere's Disease, Myasthenia Gravis, Peripheral Neuropathy, Raynaud's Phenomenon, Scleroderma and Sjogren's Syndrome, are just some of the Autoimmune Diseases according to AARA.org and on the rise in the general population.

Typically, autoimmune diseases are treated with immunosuppressive medications, steroidal anti-inflammatories or hormone replacement therapy.  This kind of treatment will take the symptoms away, but does not address the underlying causes.

Your body is a bioregulatory flow system and by restoring it, your body can start to heal. Emotional and digestive health strategies can assist in guiding your body towards sustainable health.

Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.
